Uno, Dos, Tres Con Andres- Kid's Music Review

Over the years as a blogger I have had the chance to review a lot of different children's music albums. We have found a lot of great music over the years, but one genre was missing, Latin music. So you can imagine how excited I was when "Uno, Dos, Tres Con Andres" by Andres Salguero showed up on our doorstep!

This album is filled with music influenced by all different kinds of Latin music. The first thing I noticed was that with the track list each song specified what kind of Latin music it was. There is reggae, funk, rock, bachata from the Dominican Republic, plena from Puerto Rico, salsa, mariachi, bolero, and nortena from Mexico and more. This album is a great way to introduce your kids to all different types of Latin music.

As you can imagine the music is fun and lively and bilingual! With songs like "Hola Amigo" and "If I Had a Mariachi" you may find your kids picking up some Spanish words. The songs have great positive messages about diversity and friendship.

Be sure to keep an eye out for "Uno Dos Tres Con Andres" when it is released in April!
