Land Cruiser Adventures: Salton Sea Part 2

After the adventure to the Salton Sea, we crossed the highway and traveled toward the mountains just a little bit. We found a tree to park under and pulled down the tailgates and had some lunch. 

The views of course were amazing.... 

There is next picture is pretty normal but these is something I love about it. 

Big piles of rocks provided plenty of fun for the kids. For being unathletic types those 2 love climbing rocks. 

Of course this view is still my favorite....

They really do love their Papa....

 As if hanging out, climbing rock, and peeing outside (Well for Louie anyways) wasn't fun enough, the sun started to set.

And really everyone should put "watch the sun set in the desert" on their bucket list. 

I have to admit, heading out on our first "Land Cruiser Club Aventure" was a lot of fun. We got to hang out with good friends, the girls came home filthy, tired and happy, and I got some amazing photographs. I will even go as far as to say I am looking forward to the next one.
