Over the weekend The Phi and I headed out into the desert to the Girls Scout's Big Expo. What a great big, fun and overwhelming day! We are still really new to Girl Scouts so this was quite a day for us!
There was so much to see and do and we experienced it all....
We let out our inner superhero.....
We learned how to properly fold an American flag....
Phi got to dream big and pin anywhere on the world she would like to travel to (she picked Paris!) ....
She got to stamp designs into her own leather bracelet....
She got to learn how to make different knots and how to spell out her name in morse code...
She got to see how fast and how high she could stalk cookie boxes...
She got to tour an ambulance....
We got to write about the superhero in our lives (yes we picked the same person!).....
She got to gaze at the sun.....
She got to attend the big Cookie Rally.....
She got to leave a positive message for all girls.....
She got to write and send a thank you card to someone in the military....
She got to learn about the new Girl Scout cookie i-care program....
She got to learn how to make change and fill out a bank deposit slip....
She got to hang out with her buddy....
She got to see Rico Rodriguez on stage.....
And her highlight was seeing Raini Rodriguez from one of her favorite shows Austin & Ally.
My highlight was spending the whole day with my #1 kid.
