Diary of a Mad Fat Girl- Book Review

I was excited to read and review this book for BlogHer. This book did not disappoint. I can only describe it as a "wild ride". Sweet and Southern, Ace and her 2 BFF's Chloe and Lily deal with some serious issues like infidelity, cover-ups, and  domestic violence, and verbal abuse. 


Lilly is keeping a secret, so big that it causes her to lose her job and possibly her friendship with Ace. But when Chole's husband hurts her so badly that he puts her in the hospital, the girls are forced to set aside their differences to save their friend. Lilly and Ace devise a plan to get evidence of what a scumbag Chloe's husband is. The adventure that ensues includes, a pistol in a purse, a costume shop, a dog, a biker gang, and a strip club, a returning ex-boyfriend, and a camera.

This book was such a fun read! It was sassy, a little vulgar and exciting. This book is a great testament to friendship and how far real friends will go to help one another. Grab a tall glass of sweet tea and enjoy the ride!
