Recently I have found myself with some old-school stuff on my "i want" list.(My list also includes very new school things too like an ipad, iphone5 and some D&G sunglasses)
The first thing is an old school typewriter. For what? I have no idea. But I would love to have one to you know, type stuff. At Macy's the other day they had one as part of a display and it was so awesome. Can't you just hear the clickty, clack, ding.
Now the next thing on my list has been on my list for awhile. A push mower. I enjoy mowing the lawn and I think that if i didn't have to haul the big gas powered mower from the back yard to the front yard I would do it more often. When I tell people (by people I mean Joey, my Pops, even my father-in-law) they laugh and think I am crazy. Something about it being a lot of work. Blah blah blah. I still want one.
I could spend my weekends mowing the lawn and then typing about it.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. I'm with Joey, Pops and FIL. Too much work, especially in the heat. The typewriter, I understand. I still have an old electric/portable, I should get rid of it, but I keep holding on.
ReplyDeleteMy male neighbor has a push mower and loves it. That type writer at Macy's is a mini. We have a huge old school type writer at my work somewhere... I wonder if we ever got rid of it... if not, it's yours.
