For the first time in a few years we were able to spend Easter with my side of the family. We had a potluck at my Nana and Tata's house. We took strawberry shortcakes.
This year the Easter Bunny left his usual tracks all over my house, but this year he used the dog door for his escape. As The Phi gets older the bunny is getting more realistic in his get-away.
The Phi was the first one awake on Easter morning and she dragged us out of bed into the living room. It was nice to watch her find the tracks and open her basket before the tornado that is Lou woke up.
Then Lou was up and it was time for her to attack her very first Easter basket. Since candy was not an option the bunny left Little Lulu gerber snacks, a new book about kittens, some sippy cups and a pack of wipies.
Oh and a toothbrush....
I have to admit it. I enjoy dressing the girls alike. Here we are taking the traditional front yard photos.
Oh how I adore this picture. It's like my whole heart in one photograph!
After a LONG drive we made it to Nana and Tata's house. As usual it was well worth the drive. I simply love my family and being with them makes me so incredibly happy.
I love how much the family is growing and all the new little people enjoying things like egg hunts and confetti eggs.
They had no idea he jumped in their photo!
Another memorable holiday filled with laughter and family.
