For the Love of Art

There are lots of reasons we like going to the Palm Springs Art Museum. 

First of all Joey and I both love and appreciate art of all kinds. 

I love taking The Phi and seeing her recognize pieces and experience new ones.

To let Lou take in the colors and shapes.

To visit some on my favorite adorable pieces.

To marvel at what people can do with something as simple as wood.

To ohh and ahh over the gorgeous chandelier in the stairway.

To find a new favorite piece by Pablo Picasso

To have our minds blown by the delicate works of glass.

To see creative things like a sign made of crocheted cassette tape and say "why didn't I think of that?"

 To absorb the Mexican greats like Diego Rivera

To find new Mexican artist like Jose Luis Cuevas.

To find ideas for arts and crafts like these altered books.

To see the face of your God-daughter in a Siqueros painting.

To smile at the brilliance of Andy Warhol.

To enjoy the beauty around us.

But most of all this is why we go....

To let my daughters dream big.
