Mother's Day Recap

This year Mother's Day was exhausting and awesome. The bad part was that PR Dad had to work and I had to drive myself down to my family. The good part was that I got to see not only my Mother, but both my Grandmas, Aunts, Cousins and Crissy and Baby Eli.

We started the day with brunch at a Mexican place with my parents and siblings and nieces and nephew.

We had all the girls dressed alike and it was too adorable. Too bad Lili and The Phi were both anti-photos

We all pitched in and bought my Mom a Mother's necklace. We have been wanting to buy her a Mother's ring, but my youngest sister thought that a necklace was more Mom's style. She was very right on. We bought her a circle locket with birthstones in the center. We put in my grandparents, parents, siblings, husbands, and grand kids. 14 stones total. She loved it. And you can keep adding stones as the family grows. The Fabio book was the joke gift we gave her first. She liked both.

Us with our Mom. The best Mom is all the land.

And the reason I am a Mom.

My Pops and his Mom.

We spent most of the day at my Nana and Tata's house. When I was a kid it felt like we spent every weekend there and I hated it. Now I am so happy when I get to be there and hang out. Talking, eating, laughing.

My sister and her baby boy. Respect the pouch. Respect it!

It's good to know that The Phi is not the only strange one in the family.

My Beautiful Aunt Angie and her gorgeous daughters.

Tia Concha with Arnie and Betty.

And we have love for the doggie Moms too!

And no Mother's Day is complete without gifts. And as usual PR Dad spoiled me rotten.

Okay, seriously. . .in that picture with you, your sisters and your mom--which one is the mom again? Ha ha. She hasn't changed a day since I met her. JVS
