So now that we are working on our 365 portrait project there are a lot of these photos where I tell The Phi to sit here or stand there and don't move so I can test the position of the camera for the self-timer. They are always hilarious so I started a Flickr set of just these.
The Phi ate like a champ when we had dinner at Hooters. Yes Hooters. So after she was able to get some bessert (as she calls it) at Krispy Kreme.
The last part of our week was filled with Monster Truck madness. We stopped over at UTI to check out Grave Digger. The Phi's most favorite Monster Truck.
Cindylu said my hair looked firey. I am going to take that as a compliment.
Weird story. I was invited to join this Flickr group called The Secret Life of Shopping Carts and I respectfully declined because there are not a lot of shopping carts around when I take photos. They were not just a part of my everyday. So that same night it was really windy and there were not one but TWO shopping carts on my littel cul-de-sac street. I grabbed my camera, braced the wind and took it as a sign. I joined the group.
Yes during the free-style competition Grave Digger lost a wheel, and just kept on going. It was freakin' awesome.
PR Dad surprised her with a plush Grave Digger and she was super stoked.

I'm in my 30's and I still love to watch them make the donuts at KK. It's like a must do thing. :)

ReplyDeleteI ♥ed the Monster Truck pics~made me think of my 1st "real" boyfriend; he took me to a Monster Truck show & I saw the grave digger (the boyfriend ended up being a REAL jerk but @ least I got to see a monster show out of it ;) ). Your hair looks awesome! ♥ all the pics of the Phi~she's just plain adorable! Lastly, the parking lot lights shot is AWESOMELY neat~great capture!
