3rd of July

We ditched out of work early and headed out to my sisters house. They have always had a big 3rd of July celebration out here with one of the best fireworks show ever! So since PR Dad is off today and works tomorrow it worked out great. My whole family is getting together for BBQ and fireworks. So far the kids have gotten wet outside and had Popsicles. My parents need the break, they had to literally had to pack up and be ready to evacuate. The Gap Fire is pretty damn close to them. The fire department has been using the reservoir on my parents ranch for water. I was just talking to my sister and I could hear the helicopters has they flew over head. She said that they are so close that one of the helicopter pilots saluted by Dad has he flew by.
