Lowrider

My XB is riding a little low today. See yesterday I hit up the local Smart & Final to purchase my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner. This year I am in charge of the corn. This is the second time that I have been in charge of corn. The last time I did not bring nearly enough. So this time I made sure that I would have enough corn. There is now about 15 pounds of corn sitting in cans in the back of my car. So I am estimating about 1/4 of a pound of corn per person. That should be plenty right? I mean that's a lot of a side dish, plus there will be other veggies there as well. I am looking forward to seeing the family. This year we decided to not split the day between both families and instead are going to send the whole holiday with my family. We figure that we see PR Dad's family a lot more often than we see my extended family. It will be nice to not rush in, eat and rush out. We will be able to visit with everyone and even relax a little bit. And a bonus is that we will have time to stop and visit with my OGBFF. I have not seen her or her family in ages and it will be interesting to see how the kids interact this time. The last time they saw each other was 2 years ago. Elias was barely walking and The Phi couldn't even sit on her own!
