Its here. I woke up this morning to PR Dad saying "Happy Birthday Vieja!" Nice. But as of 3:11 am I am th-th-th-thirty years old. Hold on let me say it again. I am 30 years old. Okay now let me own it I AM 30 YEARS OLD! The last few days have left me reminiscing about the life I have lead in these last 30 years. The people who have come and gone, and how lucky I am to have the friends that I do in my life, the places I have seen and everything I have learned. I have so far lead a good life and I am thankful for my wonderful family, my BFF's, my parents, my sisters and brothers, my nieces and nephew and of course my husband and daughter.
This morning as I was getting ready for work and being sad about the times that are behind me The Phi walked into the bathroom to use the potty. She was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, her hair was sticking out in every direction and she said "Happy Birthday Mommy". Oh yea and she was butt naked. This kid is my world! It made me laugh and it reminded me that the best years are still ahead of me.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes I have already received.
