2 weeks and counting
In exactly 2 weeks I will be 30 years old! I know, I was like 16 yesterday. It's crazy. This means that I am an adult. ( I know I have been an adult for many years now) An actual old adult. The concept of turning 30 years old is so hard for me to wrap my brain around. 30 years on this earth. My parents have been parents for 30 years! My God this is crazy. I DO NOT feel 30. I will move a whole bracket up on my treadmill heart rate chart! Not even close. I am one of the last of my crew to turn the big 3-0 and normally I love my birthday, but this time I am kind of freaked out by it. I wish that I could say that its no big deal, but it kind of is. Its kind of a big freakin deal. I can remember when my Mom turned 30. Do people look at me and know that I am a 30 year old? It is like a whole new chapter of my life. The chapter where PR Dad and I raise our family. Where we have another kid and raise the two and go through all the joy of raising kids to 18 years old.

ReplyDeleteI turned 30, uh, a while back. It didn't bother me beforehand but kind of got to me after I actually turned 30. Now, after being in my thirties for a while, I can honestly say, it's no biggie. It's pretty cool, actually.

I like bing in my 30's. Life is easier by miles. Far less stress.

ReplyDeleteit doesn't feel different to be 30. when you start to look old then worry. :) actually, what was harder for me to digest was that my dad turned 55 on the same day- he is closer to SIXTY than 50 now- that scares me! ~pap
