I dont travel well. I hate airports about as much as I hate hospitals. So lets just say I was not in the best of moods when we arrived in Oahu. But after some sleep the next morning I was ready to explore Honolulu.
This was the view from our breakfast at Dukes. My first look at the many beautiful beaches Oahu has.
A recommendation from Pat and JZ. Great sushi and even better prices. We couldn't resist taking the same picture as JZ!
Posing with a statue on the main drag in Waikiki. On this street alone there were 4 Coach stores!!
Joey looking at the names at the Pearl Harbor memorial circle. The tours were sold out for the day so we didnt get to go to the USS Arizona Memorial but we learned alot about what happened that day.
Lanaki Beach. I think this was my favorite beach in Oahu. It was gorgeous and peaceful. This is where I would live if I could live anywhere on Oahu.
The boat that we took our dinner cruise on. Joey joined the group from some macarena and I got up to learn the hula. But Joey is convinced that the drinks in our souviner coconut glasses had no alcohol in them.
After a 1 mile and a 1/2 walk through a beautiful botanical garden this awaits you. Waiamea Falls. The water was cold but amazing.
