Too cool for socks?

When Phi was born it was May, and it was already warm outside. Now I am a flip-flop wearing kind pf person. As long as weather permits I am in my flip-flops. And not just any, I have a pair of Reef's that I have had for years and I love them. Infact Flip chewed them up and yet I still wear them because I cannot find another pair like those anywhere! So it was summer, and it gets h-o-t in the desert so during the summer Phi never wore socks, I would tell her that socks were for nerds and all the cool kids wore flip-flops. Well I didn't know that at only a few months old, she would absorb this info and live by it. I cannot keep socks on this kid. Its a joke in the office about how many minutes it takes from Phi to take her socks off. We get to the office at 8 am and they are usually off by 8:05. We were out to dinner the other night and I noticed that she had removed her socks there too!
